M4c - Units of Time: from Seconds to Years
Is your child ready to tackle probelms involving time?
These videos set out and compare units of time: how many seconds in a minute; how many seconds in a number of minutes; how many minutes in an hour; how many minutes in a number of hours; how many hours in a day; how many hours in a number of days; how many days in a week; how many days in a number of weeks; how many days in each month; how many days in a number of months ... and combinations of all these.
Also includes how to find fractions of an hour (such as one third of an hour, two thirds of an hour, one sixth and one twelfth of an hour).
Some videos include 'fun' ways of helping children learn and remember units of time so they can 'save time' whilst answering word problems (such as learning and remembering the number of days in each month)
