How to Multiply and Divide with Fractions
Multiplying and dividing with fractions can be really confusing!
Fractions don't behave in the same way as whole numbers, which is why so many people struggle to understand how to calculate with fractions.
These videos start with the baiscs, using images and animation to explain what happens when a number is multiplied or divided by a fraction. Once this process is understood, children move on to how to multiply and divide fractions by whole numbers, then how to multiply and divide pairs of fractions.
